The son of a preacher, Nahum Grymes was appropriately named after a biblical figure. Known to the world as J.Holiday, he was born & raised in DC by a single mother, following the death of his father. With his quickly recognized talent, & the influence of R&B legends Marvin Gaye & Donny Hathaway, J.Holiday stepped directly out of high school and into the recording studio. In 2006, he signed with Music Line Group/Capitol Records.
